Fantasy is My Life

I love fantasy and science fiction. I am a Girl Raised in the South (GRITS). Welcome to my world.

MAY 9
Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targeryan

This is, to me, the most interesting pairing in the “Game of Thrones”.

"New Games" on LJ

I would like to play the new game Sims Hospital on lj but I would like to hear from some people who already play it and what they think about it.

Thanks!

Writer's Block: Into the night

How would you describe your perfect evening in six words (e.g., I stayed home and ate pasta)?
A massage followed by the hottub!

Writer's Block: The name game

What's the origin of your username? If you could change it to anything else, would you, and what would it be?

I love Richard Dean Anderson and have been a fan for a long, long time. When I got involved in the Stargate Fandom World I wanted something unique. I lived in Germany twice and studied German in high school and at college. So I combined the German word "immer" which means "always" with his initials to get my username. It has another meaning to me because in the show Jack O'Neill tells Sam Carter several times that he'll "always" be there for her and I am a big-time Jack/Sam shipper.

I definitely would not change it to anything else. Too many people know me by it now and why would I change something I like! It's uniquely mine and I'm very happy with it and proud that I came up with it!

OMG! Hot Rods!

My son just came home with a 2000 Camaro Z28. My life will never be the same! The top speed on the speedometer is 155! ::head desk::

We told him if he screws up, his dad gets the car!

Haven

I have been watching "Haven" and enjoying it very much! My favorite character is Duke. I made a wall with him since I hadn't made any walls lately.

Writer's Block: Fame for Good

Which celebs could use their fame to do the most social good?

Richard Dean Anderson, "MacGyver" and "Colonel/General Jack O'Neill", supports numerous foundations and organizations. They include the Waterkeeper's Alliance, the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, Challengers Boys & Girls Club, Art of the Brain at the UCLA Foundation which raises money for the UCLA Neuro-Oncology Program's brain cancer research, and the USC Pain Center which raises awareness of neuropathic and other chronic pain conditions such as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD).

He is extremely active and supportive of these groups and works hard to make the world a better place for our children and grandchildren. You can see more information on the Richard Dean Anderson website. www.rdanderson.com

Look down the right column until you see the Charites sections.
